Our old stone masonry workshop has been completely renovated to create 2 lofty apartments with a bright modern atmosphere and large stylish windows facing south to let in the sunny rays...
The whole apartment has been designed and renovated around an old metal staircase that was found in a junk yard, after hours of cleaning, rubbing down and repainting it makes the perfect center piece to the main room.
The ground floor, of 60m², has a polished concrete floor which gives a smooth and uniform finish throughout. The open plan kitchen, dining, sitting room is spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. There are armchairs and a sofa for lazy evenings, television and a good selection of films. The dining area has a high wooden table, originally too low to sit under we modified the legs to make a contemporian table with original metal chairs sourced from a local workshop. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, dishes and knives that cut!
Our downstairs king size bedroom has a large french wardrobe, hanging space and mirror and is ideal for people with reduced mobility. There is a spacious bathroom next door with toilet, old fashioned basin and a large shower. It has been decorated with black and white cement tiles sourced from a small manufacturer in the south.

There is a small area for the washing machine, a rack for drying clothes on and some hooks for hanging coats on.
The wood pellet stove makes for cosy evenings in winter and we provide the pellets for the duration of your stay.
The metal staircase leads to the first floor. There is 1 double bedroom with an old fashioned french metal bed, bedside tables with lamps and a wardrobe for your belongings. The twin room has 2 full size single beds, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers with a mirror.
The second bathroom has a corner shower with glass doors, toilet, fitted basin and a mirror.
2 smoke alarms are fitted in the house.
For outside dining we have installed a large Burgundian stone table with 6 chairs, there is a barbecue and the terrace is fenced for the security of small children and animals.
The pool is just a few meters from the house and is kept securely closed when not in use.
Extra services we offer :

Being in the region of food and excellent wine we have put together a small menu of dishes that you might like to try over your stay.
Regional dishes include the famous boeuf bourguignon served with garlicky cream potatoes, snails filled with garlic butter and served with fresh crusty bread all to be sampled with a bottle of red wine from the region.

Our exterior barrel sauna can be used in the cooler months of the year, it's a great way to relax and enjoy a really good nights sleep.
Book an afternoon seance and enjoy the sauna followed by tea and homemade cake.
Booking the sauna is advisable.

Massages with organic argan oil scented with orange flower can be organised during your stay. Full head to toe or just legs and back, ask for details or have one tailor made for you.
Dogs are very welcome at the Workshop, please make sure that you bring all necessary items with you for your pet to feel comfortable and at home.

We have fruit and vegetables available from the garden depending on the season and the weather, baskets of produce can be ordered for your arrival.

Our hens produce wonderful eggs, come by and visit them and watch small children's eyes light up when they collect the eggs from the nests, eggs can be bought for your stay.
